唔……我借這機會說一下聖經中的割禮！
其實割禮，是神同以色列人的祖先亞伯拉罕立的約，在出世的第八日，所有以色列中的男性，不論是自主的或是買來的奴隸，也要把陽皮(即是包皮)割去！這就是上帝，即是耶和華作為以色列人之神的憑証！
但在新約，使徒行傳中已經說過，外邦人(非以色列人)不用守這猶太習俗！
至於女性割禮，在聖經中應沒有題過，在非洲有些國家還有流傳這傳統不出奇！

Type I Excision of the prepuce with or without excision of part or all of the clitoris.
Type II Excision of the prepuce and clitoris together with partial or total excision of the labia minora.

Type IV Unclassified: includes pricking, piercing or incision of clitoris and/or labia; stretching of clitoris and/or labia; cauterization by burning of clitoris and surrounding tissues; scraping (angurya cuts) of the vaginal orifice or cutting (gishiri cuts) of the vagina; introduction of corrosive substances into the vagina to cause bleeding or herbs into the vagina with the aim of tightening or narrowing the vagina; any other procedure which falls under the definition of FGM given above.
樓主所說的應是第三類！
唉！我明白樓主認為這割禮儀式是對女性的一種侮辱同折磨，我也不忍看到這些事發生，但是嘛！我們要在尊重人家文化傳統和人道主義間取得平行，和理解這儀式背後的意義才可以作行動！

Type 1 : 切除女孩或女嬰的陰蒂包皮 (prepuce) 和陰蒂（ clitoris ）
Type 2: 切除女孩或女嬰的陰蒂（ clitoris ）和小陰唇 ( labia minora)。
Type 3: 全面地將陰部割除及縫合，包括將陰蒂和陰唇切除，將會陰以線縫合，另一方面挖個小開口供尿液及經血流出，而小開口以木製的機括保護。又稱 Infibulation 陰部封鎖。
Type 4: 刺破或割開陰蒂和陰唇, 拉扯陰唇, 燒烤陰蒂和周邊組織, 塞入腐蝕物質或草藥使陰道流血結痂緊縮。
*angurya cuts : 用刀片刮掉陰道口周邊組織。
*gishiri cuts: 切掉陰道前段有時陰道後段也切。
